I would have to say that I personally am not into self portraits because they either come out looking like someone else or they are just not what I expected.

Edge

When The word edge comes to mind I think of being on edge, on your toes. When people are on edge they can become antsy or suffer from anxiety which usually leads to someway of an outlet. In Johnny's case he smokes the edge off. 

Theme and Variation

I call this Grandmother's Jewelry. It has not been completed yet but it is approaching the final stages. Each panel has to do with our relationship through her jewelry.  

New

I think of Newly Weds when I hear the word new. I plan on going back in later on and fixing the proportions and possibly digitize it. 

Snow

I wanted to create a scene where a little boy orphan is building a snowman while his younger brother is inside sick. He is building the snow man to cheer his brother up and to keep his mind busy. It is almost christmas and they have yet to be adopted. He is starting to lose hope but maybe a Christmas miracle will happen if he just keeps believing. 

Explore

When I think of the word explore I picture the dentist searching your teeth for cavities. Its like they are going a journey to find pearls. Well at least they hope there are good teeth but if there wasn't any small or large issues the dentist would not be needed. I thought it would be more interesting if the view was from the inside out.
